In addition to its miso products (see page 43), Marusan-ai pioneered sterilised packaging for soy milk and began producing it in the mid 70’s. Marusan soy milk owes its particular flavour to over 30 years of continuous efforts to improve its taste, by eliminating the off-putting smell which can make soy milk unpalatable and bringing out the natural taste of soy beans. As well as plain soy milk, the range includes sweetened and unsweetened, malt- or teaflavoured, and fermented yoghurt-flavoured soy milk drinks.
