The depth of flavour and aroma of traditional Japanese dashi stock can be achieved easily by using instant, powdered Hondashi. Hondashi is made using a unique process that preserves the aroma and the deep flavour of both konbu kelp and freshly shaved katsuobushi, or dried bonito flakes.
